Somewhere on page 10 of Life! newspaper of The Straits Times in 2013..
..there is a review of a dyson vacuum, specifically, the DC41. I can’t remember who the writer is but I thought he reviewed it great. I tell my 20-year-old self back then that one day I will write a similar column for Life! in the near future.
And I never did.
But, what I did do eventually in 2022, is to start a website writing product reviews. With that same kind of attentiveness, yet keeping it concise enough to not bore audiences who are not interested in the technical details.
“What a great idea! I will be a millionaire in no time!” That’s what I thought back in 2022.
It is still a great idea.

Pardon the Lah in the subheader. It is mandatory nowadays to put it so you know we are local, even if the word ‘lah’ is overused and quite frankly, cliche as hell. So yeah we are pretty much local, we like milo peng as much as Taxi Drivers like scolding the government, but let’s not go there.
We review the products that we manage to convince retailers to loan it to us without giving them a mention. They thought we are big time when we mentioned we are from a magazine. Though we know online magazine don’t mean anything. What we are big on though, is to give honest review on the products we did review.
